1962 – Monitor Radio Interview: Bob King interviewing George Vukelich
This interview was done for the radio show Monitor hosted on NBC by Jim Lowe. Bob King, who was the long-time newscaster at WIBA-AM radio in Madison actually interviewed George. 1963 – Viewpoint Radio Program: Blood Bank Donor
Viewpoint was a staple on George’s broadcasts on WIBA-AM radio. Often he would have guests on to talk about important and sometimes controversial topics. But the goal of the show was simply to serve the public interest. This show, from 1963, is a visit to the Dane County Red Cross Blood Bank to give blood. George walks the listener through the blood donation process as he gives blood. George was a regular blood donor and gave over 24 gallons in his life.
